Megan Forstburg
Coach, 16 Black

Meg brings a strong background in both playing and coaching to her role, with a deep passion for developing well-rounded athletes.
While completing her undergraduate studies, Meg began her coaching journey with Revolution Volleyball Club, leading their 15U team during her junior and senior years (2019–2020). Most recently, she coached the 15U team at East Coast Power Volleyball during the 2024–2025 season.
Meg played collegiately at Shippensburg University, where she was a four-year starter. Throughout her career, she helped lead her team to PSAC and NCAA Tournament appearances every season. In 2019, she was named to the All-PSAC Team and concluded her career ranked second in school history in digs, with an impressive total of 2,073.
Meg’s coaching philosophy centers on developing the complete athlete—both on and off the court. She believes that success in volleyball is built not only on technical skills, but also on mental toughness, confidence, and character. Her approach emphasizes resilience, communication, and self-belief, alongside continual growth in game fundamentals and team dynamics.
Through structured training, individualized support, and a positive, competitive environment, Meg aims to foster athletes who lead with integrity, face challenges with poise, and perform with confidence. Volleyball is the platform—but her goal is to instill values and habits that extend far beyond the court.
