Devon Smallwood

Devon Smallwood brings over seven years of coaching experience, working with athletes across all ages and competitive levels. At every stage, her focus remains the same: developing well-rounded players on and off the court.

A former NCAA Division I athlete at the University of Connecticut, Devon made her mark with over 1,000 career kills and digs. As a team captain, she was known for her leadership, competitive drive, and relentless work ethic.

Devon’s love for volleyball began early and continues to fuel her commitment to excellence in every coaching role. Respected for creating a positive, disciplined, and high-energy team culture, she focuses on building solid fundamentals, empowering athletes with confidence, and inspiring a commitment to continuous growth.

Her goal is simple: to help every athlete grow, compete with confidence, and develop a lifelong passion for the game.

Outside of coaching, Devon enjoys spending time at the beach and making memories with her husband, two daughters (Georgia and Maya), and their dog, Pablo.
